Careership is the National Trust's award-winning programme, launched in 1991. We concentrate on developing rare skills in practical settings, nurturing the talents we need to keep protecting our natural heritage. You'll be offered employment at a specially selected National Trust garden, area of countryside or coastline. This will become your workplace, where with plenty of help and support from senior Trust colleagues, you'll develop a range of new skills. Working alongside colleagues, the local community and volunteers, you'll gain a real understanding of the work of the National Trust with people and places in your local area, and beyond.
