A truly unique building concept, ‘Heelis’ is at the cutting edge of 21st-Century design for environmentally sustainable working. Its striking architecture, contemporary interior design and location adjacent to the Outlet Centre, combine to offer an outstanding working environment for our people. Among our major awards are the RIBA Special Sustainability Award, and the top honour at the British Construction Awards. (Why ‘Heelis’? Named after one of Britain's best loved authors and one of the Trust’s most famous benefactors – Heelis was in fact the married name of Beatrix Potter (opens in a new window).)

It takes a talented team to ensure that every visit to a National Trust property is enjoyable, educational and unforgettable. Much like the properties themselves, jobs at our properties vary enormously! Our gardens and estates have careers for specialists such as gardeners, wardens and parks managers, our houses need administrators, conservation cleaners, property managers and visitor reception staff to keep them running smoothly, and we have a variety of jobs in catering and retail within our many restaurants and shops.
The National Trust maintains a London Office for the purpose of being close to the seat of government and other key partners/stakeholders. It is also the office of the London Area Manager and team.

The National Trust Transactions Processing Unit (payments), along with credit control and all financial accounting activities, such as purchase ledger and expenditure management, plus rent debt and income collection teams are all based at Epsom Court.
