Recruitment agencies

As far as we can, we source our candidates direct. In some instances, we’ll use a preferred supplier. If you’re a recruitment agency, we prefer you not to submit or present candidates to us by email, fax, phone, mail, verbal referral or any other means. We review our approach annually and the next scheduled review will be announced on this website.

We’ll only pay a fee for candidates submitted or presented after there’s a signed agreement in place between The National Trust and the agency. Candidates should only be submitted by agencies in response to a vacancy being placed with them. In the case of candidate(s) submitted or presented to the National Trust by the agency without agreed terms and conditions in place or not in response to a vacancy being placed with them, we reserve the right to pursue and hire those candidate(s) without any financial obligation to the agency. If you’ve agreed terms and conditions with us, please talk to your Recruitment Officer about submitting potential candidates.

Excessive canvassing will result in you being removed permanently from the list of agencies who will be invited to tender when the PSL is renewed.
