Central office

Heelis, Swindon, Wiltshire

The aim of our founders was to make sure that the nation's industrial workforce had access to beauty. So it was only right that we built our new central office in a place that used to be occupied by the people whose lives we wanted to improve. Heelis (which was Beatrix Potter's married name) is our award-winning central office, built on the site of the old Swindon Railway Works.

Today, Heelis is home to more than 440 people working in everything from conservation to business administration, finance to policy and strategy, and virtually everything in between. It's a very special building. It's innovative and environmentally friendly, at the cutting edge of twenty first century design for environmentally sustainable working. It's strikingly unique, mixing contemporary design with inspiration from days gone by. But don't just take our word for it, have a look around for yourself with our video tour. But Heelis isn't our only office. You can call Queen Anne’s Gate our London home.
