We're particularly interested to hear from people who can demonstrate a real passion for conservation, and a desire to work in the great outdoors, whatever the weather. You'll probably also have some knowledge or experience of gardening or environmental conservation gained through your hobbies or work experience, and a record of appropriate volunteer work will stand you in good stead.
As the training programme itself is physically demanding and often outdoors, you'll need stamina and great determination. You'll also be required to complete a medical questionnaire before joining us.
Whatever your background, your most important asset will be your enthusiasm and commitment to making the most of a special opportunity.
The National Trust is committed to Equal opportunities and appoints on merit. We welcome applicants from all sections of society regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, disability, marital status, age (it is usual practice for Trust employees to retire age 65) and religion, perceived community background or political beliefs.
